The Royal Yacht Britannia is one of the world's most famous ships. Launched at John Brown's shipyard in Clydebank in 1953, The Royal Yacht proudly served Queen and country for forty-four years. During that time Britannia carried the Queen and the Royal Family on 968 official voyages and sailed over one million miles. Britannia was decommissioned in 1997 and is now owned by a Charitable Trust.

Meeting Facilities

Britannia is available as an exclusive venue for corporate hospitality. Drinks receptions for up to 250 guests, dinners for up to 96 guests, breakfast for up to 100 guests and Christmas events can all be hosted in the State Apartments. The State Dining Room is the largest and grandest room on board.
